Accent - Otherwise EP

In collaboration with Trevor from Lethargy Ink, we seek to create a sense of disturbance visually. Lyrically speaking, Accent discusses ideas about transformation and the passing of time. This sense of slow kinetic energy is alluded to by the type of treatment of certain characters, making them feel as if they are transforming or beginning to drip off of the surface.

The bright yellow color throughout the packaging promotes a couple of feelings. The first is an allusion to the energy pushed instrumentally, this bright yellow gives off a loud feeling. Secondarily the specific shade of yellow selected feels dirty and gives a slight sense of uneasiness. Again, speaking lyrically, Accent discusses ideas of un-comfort and restlessness.
