MY MISSION IS . . .
TO CREATE MORE MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES BY PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES BETWEEN THE RELATIONSHIP OF ART AND MUSIC.
There are far too many people in the world who don't fully respect or understand the power of presentation in the music industry and beyond.
Album covers and album packaging are as important, if not more important than the music itself. The album cover and the packaging of your music is the first thing new listeners will experience, this can either make or break your chance of them even listening to your music. Not only that, every album cover will live with its music companion forever. Yeah, forever. You don't wanna stare at a bad cover forever. Album packaging can make your music feel more real, more relatable, and more memorable. If done right. your packaging helps to reinforce your music's message and can help make for a more memorable connection with your audience and ultimately a longer-lasting relationship.
To push the boundaries between the relationship of art is music, we need to be willing to be bold and to take risks. We, as artists, designers, and musicians need to take into consideration the entire music experience. This experience is not only received through our ears but through all 5 of our senses and taps into our unique memory and perspective of the world. When done right, it can strike a chord spiritually and emotionally inside a listener that could impact them forever. When creating more memorable experiences we need to do so in a holistic way. The album cover is the keystone to this process, but only the beginning of the full musical experience. Your ads, your campaigns, your merch, your videos, your photos, your gig posters, your stage dressings, your outfit; it's all packaging for your music, the vessel in which your music is presented. Your band's visual presentation is either helping or hurting your reach and your growth. Acknowledging this is critical.
