Melkshake - Raul EP

Throughout this record, Melkshake is placing the instrumental tone in direct contrast with the lyrical content. In attempts at capturing this duality, the color palette chosen plays a significant role. The bright yellow and purple as the most prominent colors, give off a brighter feeling, alluding to the instrumental tone. The addition of the dark purple used in the figure speaks to the dark tones prominent in the lyrical content.

Parts of this record, give the listener a sense of rain. In allusion to this idea, the dark figure on the cover is cloaked as one would for a rainy day. Additionally, wet footprints have been incorporated into the vinyl disk's sticker, creating a sense of walking in circles when played.
